In my book, Warrior Rising: How Four Men Helped a Boy on His Journey to Manhood, I share the experiences, insights and perspectives of four men who stepped in as mentors to my son. I call them his Circle of Kings who agreed to commit to his lifelong journey that began at his Black Mitzvah ceremony that I created for him on his 13th birthday. Each chapter focuses on lessons learned about what being a man means from basically five different perspectives including the mentee, and is based on three core values: respect, righteousness, and responsibility.
